Explore the many hidden treasures of this remote and almost forgotten desert reserve of Southern Africa. The river is surrounded by semi precious stone, rock formations, and volcanic rock to the abundance of small animals, primates and extraordinary bird life.

We leave from our base camp to partake on our adventure into the wild. Our camps will be along the river edge with basic facilities for the extend of the adventure.

Base Camp
Our orange river rafting adventure start and end back at base camp.

Umkulu Base Camp is 20km west from the vioolsdrift and noordoewer borderpost ( namibia / south africa ) N7 - Follow the signboards to the camp

Our guides will meet and greet our clients and inform them of the preparations of the trails that follow.

Our 4 & 6 day orange river rafting tours requires you to have a passport.

Trails:
1 Day River Trail: R 350 excl lunch; R 380 incl lunch
This trail will be arranged from our base camp and depending on the level of water will be between 3 – 5 hours.  No passport needed for this trail.

Orange River Overnight Trail:  R850 incl lunch, dinner and breakfast. 

4 Day/ 3 Night River Trail:
45 – 85 km (depending on the water level)
Price: Adults:  R2 850.00 / children under 12:  R2 450.00

Arrive at base camp not later than 17h00 pm
Day of arrival at camp - own meals
Following day your river rafting adventure departs
