Umkulu Safari & canoe trails strives to uphold the quality of our river trails with the quality of equipment that we use. We make use of the best equipment available in South Africa and all has been SABS approved for rafting and canoe trails. Our two man inflatable rafts are suitable for all terrains and can comfortably handle any river graded 1-3. Every boat has 2 paddles, 2 buoyancy aids; dry bags and a cooler box for drinks.

We have opted to make use of African River kraft ARK in supplying us with the best rafting and canoeing equipment available. Once again ARK's legendary NILE KN. 200, was selected as the official craft for the CAMEL WHITE WATER CHALLENGE meeting all performance criteria. This year the mighty Yami Yami presided over the event on the awesome Zambezi River, and as usual participants did not go home disappointed.

We make use of 2 man inflatable rafts along with the 6 man inflatable rafts. We have selected the correct equipment for the differrent rivers that we guide our river trails.

We supply our clients with a 2 man inflatable raft, 2 paddles, flotation devices, Cooler box for drinks and dry bags to keep the personals safe whilst on a river trail. Our rafts are easy to control, safe, light and durable and perfectly suited for our river trails.
